This Best Easy Apple Dip is one of those recipes that I find myself making all the time!Â
It’s fast to make, uses common ingredients most people have on hand and is the perfect “healthy” treat!
This apple dip is creamy, thick, slightly sweet with a great peanut butter taste that isn’t overwhelming. You may be shocked at how much you can eat in one sitting! Â

High Praise
The first time that my mom had this apple drip during lunch at my house one day she said “It’s better than Ice Cream!”Â
Now, I don’t know if I can make that claim for the general population BUT I will say that it is very very good! I have yet to see someone not like this apple dip.
As a side note about this dip-its great for anyone who doesn’t love peanut butter too! My son doesn’t eat peanut butter on its own but he LOVES this dip. As a mom who tries to make sure her toddlers are eating peanut butter on a regular basis for the sake of allergies, it’s perfect!Â
How To Make
Apple Dip is so simple to make! It takes four ingredients that most people already have on hand!Â
- Yogurt
- Peanut Butter
- Honey
- Cinnamon
Simply mix together! Could not be any easier.Â
You can also change out the honey for another sweetener if you have a baby under 1!
Now, this is a true make it for yourself type recipe! I give you the ingredient amounts that I love when making this but feel free to do your own thing!
Recipes are meant to be made your own! Use my ingredient amounts (which I do think is pretty perfect) then adjust for your own taste buds. If you love peanut butter-add more! Dislike cinnamon-leave it all out!Â

Top Tips For Apple Dip
Yogurt
- The best to use is a good plain greek yogurt. I always go whole milk on mine as well!Â
- I have also used american style yogurt (“normal” thinner yogurt) which works great too! Just know that your dip will be a thinner consistency.
- Use a flavored yogurt if you want. I have used vanilla yogurt in this recipe as well. Of course it will change the flavor! Keep in mind if your yogurt has sugar in it. If there is added sugar in your yogurt add no/less honey!Â
Peanut Butter
- Use an Peanut Butter you want here
- Could use a different nut butter as well (like almond).
- I personally like using a less sugary Peanut Butter in this dip so that the honey flavor can shine a bit more.
- My sister uses no honey in this dip because she uses a “normal” full sugar Peanut Butter and wants to limit the sweetness
Honey
- Use less or more depending on the sweetness in your yogurt/peanut butter
- I also like switching out honey for maple syrup! It gives it a slightly different flavor. When my kiddos were under one I made this dip exclusively with maple syrup.
- I have also used agave in this recipe.
Cinnamon
- Pretty simple! Sprinkle in as much of a cinnamon flavor as you want!
- Always best to start out with less and add more a little bit at a time
How to Use Apple Dip
The best way is with sliced apples!
This dip is also great with other fruit as well! I particularly like it with bananas and strawberries.
I often will just grab a spoon and grab a quick little snack of this out of the fridge. Since it’s full of protein it makes a great little treat between meals.
Since the ingredients have a great shelf life leftovers can be kept in the fridge for as long as the yogurt is good till! Though we always eat it up in a few days.
Fun Fact: my husband’s favorite food is an apple. He is one of those people who knows all sorts of varieties of apples. When I met him I named them based on their color alone, but no more! All that to say, he is all about some apple dip. Another reason we make it so much in our home!Â
